ALBANY COUNTY SEWER IMPROVEMENTS – PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

The Albany County Water Purification District provides service for treatment and disposal of sewage for the Village of Colonie. We have been notified that there will be a public hearing held on April 28th at 7:00 p.m. at the Albany County Courthouse where they will discuss improvements to their facilities that total nearly $5 million dollars. These costs will be shared with their customers, which includes the Village of Colonie. We encourage our residents to attend this hearing, as it is their opportunity to speak about the matter, as these costs could be reflected in future sewer rate increases. Please contact Village Hall if you have any questions, or contact Albany County at 518-467-1611 for more information.
